Music Video Screenwriter, Mid-Level

We're looking for a talented mid-level screenwriter to join an independent production on an upcoming music video project, filming in London. We're creating a visually driven, slightly surreal narrative for an indie pop artist, focusing on themes of escapism and nostalgia. We've got some strong conceptual ideas and need someone to help craft them into a compelling, concise script that effectively serves the song's emotional core, playing with non-linear storytelling and evocative imagery. Key responsibilities include collaborating closely with the director and artist to refine the concept, developing a detailed treatment and shooting script, and potentially being available for on-set adjustments during pre-production. You'll need proven experience scripting music videos or similar short-form narrative content. Please submit a reel or portfolio showcasing your best work in visual storytelling, especially anything with a dreamlike or symbolic quality. The shoot is expected to take place over 2-3 days, likely in late September/early October, and your work on the script would be expected to conclude within a similar timeframe leading up to the shoot. Your day rate is $200-400, depending on experience. We're a small, dedicated team and welcome creative input from all collaborators.
