Screenwriting for Feature Film

Our independent production is seeking an enthusiastic and organized Entry-Level Associate Producer to join our team for an upcoming dramatic feature film. This film explores themes of resilience and family dynamics in a suspenseful, character-driven narrative. We're looking for someone who can help keep our production running smoothly during the pre-production and principal photography phases. Key responsibilities will include managing schedules, coordinating logistics for crew and equipment, assisting with location scouting and permits, and handling general administrative tasks. You'll be the go-to person for many day-to-day needs, ensuring our creative vision can be brought to life efficiently. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn the ins and outs of feature film production from the ground up. No specific gear is required, but a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude are essential. Prior experience on a set, even in a volunteer capacity, is a plus but not strictly necessary. We're looking for someone eager to learn and contribute. This position is based in Brooklyn, NY. Shoot dates are TBD but will likely be 5-6 weeks in late summer/early fall. Expect long days, typically 10-12 hours. We'll provide a production vehicle for necessary travel, and meals will be covered during principal photography. Compensation is $2000-3000 per week, commensurate with experience.
