Senior Screenwriter for Corporate Video (NYC)

Independent production company seeking a senior screenwriter for an upcoming corporate video project in New York City. This isn't your typical dry corporate fare, we're aiming for something fresh and engaging, showcasing cutting-edge tech with a dynamic, human-centric tone. Think more explainer video meets mini-documentary, with a focus on clear storytelling and impactful messaging. Your main responsibilities will include developing comprehensive scripts from initial concepts, collaborating closely with our director and client to refine messaging, and delivering polished, production-ready drafts. We'll need a writer with a strong portfolio demonstrating experience crafting compelling narratives for corporate or commercial content, ideally with a focus on technology or innovation. Excellent communication and revision skills are a must. Please provide samples of your previous work. The shoot dates are approximate, but we're looking at a 2-3 week writing period, with a target of around 5-8 days of actual writing, spread out to allow for feedback. This will be a remote position for the most part, but with some in-person meetings in NYC. Compensation is $500-800 per day, depending on experience. We'll provide all necessary project documentation and creative briefs.
