Production Designer, Corp Video (Deferred Pay)

An independent production is seeking a talented Production Designer for an engaging corporate video project based in Sydney, AU. This project aims to showcase an innovative local tech startup, blending professional messaging with a clean, modern aesthetic. The tone will be aspirational and visually polished, focusing on sleek product presentation and dynamic human interaction within a contemporary office setting. This is a great opportunity to build your portfolio with a visually driven piece. Key responsibilities include collaborating closely with the director to develop the visual concept, sourcing and styling props, designing and setting up shoot locations (primarily office interiors), and ensuring all visual elements align with the client's brand identity. You'll be instrumental in creating an environment that feels both professional and inviting. While this is a deferred pay position, it offers significant creative input and a tangible output for your reel. Experience level is open, so enthusiastic emerging designers are encouraged to apply, but a strong eye for detail and practical problem-solving skills are essential. Please submit a reel or portfolio showcasing your previous design work, even if it's student or personal projects. No specific gear is required from you, as set dressing and props will be budgeted for by the production. We anticipate a prep period of approximately 2-3 days, followed by a 1-day shoot, both scheduled for the last week of September 2026. Specific shoot hours will be standard 8-10 hour days. Craft services and local transportation assistance will be provided on shoot day.
