Production for Web Series

Our independent production is seeking a passionate Editor to join our small, dedicated team for an upcoming web series. This project blends elements of grounded drama and dark comedy, exploring the absurdities of modern life through a diverse cast of characters in Miami. We are looking for someone eager to help shape the narrative and visual flow of approximately six episodes, each around 10-15 minutes long. This is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate creatively and gain valuable experience on a character-driven story. Key responsibilities include assembling raw footage, creating rough and fine cuts, incorporating sound design and music, and collaborating closely with the director to refine the story. Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro is required. Please have your own editing workstation and software. While prior professional experience is not strictly necessary, a strong sense of storytelling, rhythm, and attention to detail are crucial. Please provide a reel or samples of your previous editing work, even if it's student or personal projects. Post-production is anticipated to begin in late September or early October 2026, and is expected to last for about 4-6 weeks, with flexible hours. This is a volunteer, passion project. While compensation is not available, we offer screen credit, craft services during any in-person collaboration, and a chance to build your portfolio with a unique and engaging series.
