Screenwriter for Sci-Fi Pilot (Paid, Austin TX)

Hey filmmakers, I'm James Wright and an independent production is seeking a skilled screenwriter for an exciting new pilot. It's a sci-fi drama with a dark, psychological tone, exploring themes of artificial intelligence and human consciousness. We've got a compelling concept and are looking for someone to bring it to life with sharp dialogue and a strong narrative arc. Your primary responsibility will be developing the pilot script, working closely with the director and producers to refine the story and characters. This will involve multiple drafts and incorporating feedback effectively. We're open to screenwriters of all experience levels, from emerging writers to established pros, as long as you have a unique voice and a passion for sci-fi. This is a paid position, offering $1000-1500 per day, depending on experience. We anticipate the writing period to be approximately 4-6 weeks, with flexible hours. Most work can be done remotely though we'd like to have some in-person meetings here in Austin, TX during key development stages.
