Senior 1st AC (Focus Puller) Feature Film, Prague

Looking for a seasoned 1st AC (Focus Puller) for an upcoming independent narrative feature film shooting in Prague, Czech Republic. This is a gritty, character-driven thriller, and we're aiming for a raw, naturalistic look. It's a visually intense story, so your precise focus pulling and camera knowledge will be absolutely crucial in bringing this vision to life. Key responsibilities include maintaining critical focus in challenging environments, meticulously prepping camera packages, and collaborating closely with the DP and camera department. You'll be expected to manage and troubleshoot camera equipment effectively on set. We require extensive experience as a 1st AC on multiple feature films or high-end episodic productions. You should be familiar with a range of cinema camera systems, especially ARRI and RED, and have a strong understanding of lens characteristics. Please provide a link to your reel or a list of significant credits demonstrating your capabilities. Fluent English is essential, and basic Czech is a plus for local communication. Shoot dates are approximately 6-7 weeks, beginning in late September. We anticipate 10-12 hour days, 5 days a week. Accommodations and local transportation will be provided in Prague, along with a daily per diem.
