Senior 1st AC for Indie Pilot

Hey everyone, Chloe here, production designer on an indie pilot shooting in Portland. We're on the hunt for a pro 1st Assistant Camera for our upcoming project, a dark comedy with some surreal elements. Think early Coen Brothers meets A24, so we're after someone with a keenly observant eye and a knack for precise focus pulls. This is a critical role for us in helping bring a unique visual style to life. You'll be responsible for all aspects of camera setup, maintenance, lens changes, focus pulling, and working closely with our DP to ensure our visuals are sharp and consistent. We're looking for someone who owns their own essential AC kit, including a monitor, follow focus, and camera support accessories. You'll need solid experience on independent productions, ideally with a pilot or short film background, and please include your reel or a list of relevant projects. We're planning for approximately 3-4 shoot days, likely spread over a week or two in late spring, 10-12 hour days. We'll be providing camera and lens packages. Daily rate is $500-800, dependent on experience. Excited to see your work!
