Senior DP, Sci-Fi Pilot, Partnership

Hey filmmakers, I'm helping put out the word for a talented Senior Director of Photography for an exciting sci-fi pilot we're developing. This is an independent production with a compelling, character-driven story and a unique visual style we're aiming for imagine a blend of classic sci-fi with a grounded, gritty aesthetic. We're looking for someone who can translate complex emotional beats into visually striking narratives. Your primary responsibility will be leading our camera department, working closely with the director to establish the visual language, and overseeing all aspects of cinematography from lensing choices to lighting strategy. You'll need to hit the ground running, bringing your own professional camera package (preferably Arri orRED) and a well-rounded kit of lenses and support. We're seeking DPs with extensive narrative experience, ideally on independent features or high-end shorts. A strong reel showcasing your visual storytelling and technical prowess is essential. We’ll be shooting in Atlanta, GA, with approximate shoot dates in late Fall, aiming for a 10-12 day schedule. We’re offering an equity partnership in the production, recognizing your vital contribution to bringing this project to life. Snacks, craft services, and some basic gear support will be provided.
