Senior VFX Artist, Commercial Project (LA)

Hey LA VFX folks! I'm Megan, a Script Supervisor working on a really cool upcoming commercial production, and we're on the hunt for a senior VFX Artist. This isn't your typical commercial, it’s got a visually distinctive, slightly surreal aesthetic, pushing the boundaries of what you might expect for branded content. We're looking for someone who can bring some serious creative horsepower and technical savvy to the table. Your main gig will be delivering high-quality visual effects, from conceptualization through final compositing. This includes things like complex rotoscoping, clean-up, digital matte painting, and integrating CG elements into live-action footage. You'll be working closely with our Director and Post-Production Supervisor, so good communication is key. We're looking for someone with at least 5-7 years of professional experience in commercial VFX, ideally with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on similar high-end projects. Proficiency in industry-standard software (Nuke, Maya, Houdini, etc.) is a must. Shoot dates are kicking off mid-July for about a week, with post-production extending into August. This will mostly be remote work for post, but with some required in-person meetings in Los Angeles during the earlier stages. Compensation is TBD, depending on experience and availability.
