Senior VFX Artist, Sci-Fi Short (Remote OK)

Hey there! Giselle Moreno, an EPK Producer, here looking for a talented Senior VFX Artist for an upcoming independent sci-fi short film. This project is a visually ambitious, character-driven piece set in a near-future Miami, blending gritty realism with subtle, atmospheric fantastical elements. We're aiming for a high-quality, festival-ready film, and the VFX will be crucial to bringing our unique world to life. We need someone with strong compositing and visual effects skills to help with environmental enhancements, subtle creature work, and practical effect augmentation. Your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with the director and post-production team to integrate VFX shots , troubleshoot challenges, and deliver polished, cinematic results. You'll need a solid reel demonstrating your experience with complex VFX pipelines and a keen eye for detail. Experience with Nuke, After Effects, or similar industry-standard software is essential. While we're based in Miami, remote work is absolutely fine for the right candidate. Compensation is $100-200 per day, depending on experience and scope. Post-production will run for approximately 4-6 weeks starting in late spring, with flexible hours. We'll provide all necessary assets and clear creative direction. Looking forward to seeing your work!
