VFX for Pilot

Hey all, Sierra here, Hair Dept Head on an exciting independent pilot looking for a talented VFX artist. This is a supernatural thriller pilot, pretty dark and intense, with some really cool concepts involving a character's internal struggles manifesting as physical, unsettling visual effects. We're looking for someone creative who can help us bring these subtle but impactful visual moments to life without breaking the bank. Your main responsibilities will include effects compositing, some basic roto/masking, and potentially a few practical effects enhancements. Ideally, you'll have your own workstation and software, and a reel showcasing your previous work is a must, even if it's student or personal projects. This is a paid gig, $200-400/day depending on experience and the complexity of the shots assigned. We're aiming to shoot late July/early August, precise dates TBD but we're looking at a 5-7 day shoot with an additional week or two for post-production VFX work. We'll provide lunch and snacks on set, and a comfortable workspace for post. Open to all experience levels, from recent grads to seasoned pros. Let's make something awesome!
