Senior VFX Artist, Sci-Fi Pilot

Atlanta, GA shoot for an independent sci-fi pilot, early October 2026. We're looking for a seasoned Senior VFX Artist to join our small, but ambitious, production. This pilot is a gritty, character-driven sci-fi thriller with a grounded aesthetic, aiming for festival recognition. We need someone who can help us bring our world to life with practical and digital effects, creating believable environments and subtle character enhancements, not just flashy explosions. You'll be responsible for overseeing all VFX shots from concept to completion, including compositing, roto, tracking, and basic 3D modeling where needed. We're looking for someone with at least 5+ years of experience in film or high-end television, a strong portfolio showcasing your creative and technical abilities, and proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., Nuke, After Effects, Maya/Blender). While we don't have dedicated gear to offer, your personal workstation and software licenses are essential. This is a deferred pay position, but we're committed to making something truly special. Expect approximately 3 weeks of work, spread across pre-production and post. Your creative input will be highly valued.
