VFX for Feature Film
An independent production is seeking an entry-level VFX Artist for an upcoming independent feature film. This project is a supernatural drama with strong psychological thriller elements, focusing on atmospheric tension and subtle visual effects to enhance the narrative, rather than overt spectacle. We need someone who can help bring a touch of the uncanny to our Louisiana-based story. Your key responsibilities will include assisting with rotoscoping, basic compositing, clean-up, and some environmental enhancements. We're looking for someone eager to learn and grow within a collaborative team. Previous experience with industry-standard VFX software (e.g., Nuke, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve Fusion) is required. Please have a reel demonstrating your skills in these areas. You'll be working closely with our Post-Production Supervisor. This is for approximately 3-4 weeks of work, starting around October 3, 2026. The weekly compensation is $2000-$3000, depending on experience. While our core team is in New Orleans, LA, this role is open to remote candidates who can maintain consistent communication and meet deadlines. We provide access to project files and necessary assets. This is a great opportunity to gain feature film credits on a compelling story.
