Seeking a talented VFX Artist for an upcoming independent feature film shooting in Chicago, IL. We need someone who can help bring a subtle, yet impactful, visual layer to our storytelling. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating realistic digital environments, enhancing existing practical effects, and crafting seamless compositing work. We're open to all experience levels; your reel demonstrating creativity and technical skill is key. Proficiency with industry-standard software (e.g., Nuke, After Effects, Maya, Blender) is expected, and a willingness to work collaboratively within a small team is essential. Our principal photography is scheduled for approximately 3 weeks, starting around October 2, 2026. This is a deferred payment opportunity, ideal for someone looking to build their feature film credits on a passionate project. We will provide any necessary software licenses and a dedicated workstation for post-production work. Post-production is expected to continue into early 2027.
