VFX for Web Series

Our independent production is seeking a talented VFX Artist to join our small team for an upcoming web series shoot in Atlanta. This is a dramatic dark comedy web series, tonally similar to shows like Barry or Fargo, with stylized visuals and some surreal elements that will require creative visual effects work. We need someone who can help bring these unique moments to life on screen. Key responsibilities include collaborating with the director on visual effects concepts, executing various VFX shots (e.g., green screen compositing, object removal, minor magical effects, environmental enhancements), and ensuring visual consistency with the series' aesthetic. You'll primarily be working in post-production. While previous professional experience is a plus, we are open to all skill levels. We prioritize a strong reel or portfolio showcasing your abilities and a passion for storytelling through visual effects. Please indicate what software and hardware (e.g., specific Adobe Creative Suite programs, DaVinci Resolve Fusion, Blender, etc.) you are proficient with in your application. You will be working primarily with our editing team remotely, though local check-ins are possible. This is a paid position, offering $150-300 per day, dependent on experience and scope of work. We anticipate about 3-4 weeks of intermittent work, primarily in October 2026 and November 2026, with an initial consultation in mid September 2026. Specific hours will be flexible, project-based. We will provide all necessary source footage and editorial cuts for your work.
