Sound Design for Corporate Video

Hey Toronto sound pros, I'm a focus puller helping out a small production company find a talented Sound Designer for an upcoming corporate video. This isn't your typical dry corporate piece; it's a creative, documentary-style project showcasing an innovative tech startup. We're looking to create an engaging and impactful soundscape that elevates the visuals and tells a compelling story. Your key responsibilities will include field recording on set, dialogue editing, sound effects design, and final mix for broadcast and online delivery. You'll need to bring your own sound recording gear, including a reliable recorder, microphones (boom and lavalier), and headphones. We're looking for someone with around 3-5 years of experience in corporate or documentary sound, a strong ear for detail, and a portfolio that demonstrates your ability to craft dynamic sound environments. Shoot dates are approximately late April or early May, likely 2-3 days, with additional post-production time. Expect full 10-hour days on set.
