Sound Designer, Indie Short Film

Hey everyone, I'm Elena, a producer on an exciting independent psychological thriller short film and we're looking for a talented Sound Designer to join our team. This project delves into themes of isolation and paranoia, relying heavily on an atmospheric and immersive soundscape to tell its story. We've got some really unique visual elements, and the sound design will be crucial in building tension and dread. As our Sound Designer, you'll be responsible for all post-production sound elements, including foley, sound effects, ambience, and final mix, working closely with the director to achieve their vision. We're looking for someone with around 3-5 years of experience in film sound, a strong portfolio showcasing your creative and technical abilities, and a proven track record delivering impactful sound design for narrative projects. You should be proficient in industry-standard DAWs and have access to your own essential software and plugins. We're currently planning for a 3-5 day post-production schedule for sound, likely sometime in late May or early June, with flexible hours. We're offering a rate of $300-$500 per day, depending on experience. Come help us make this film unforgettable through sound!
