Sound Designer - Pilot (NY)

Hey everyone, Sam Brennan here, working as a boom op on an independent pilot and we're on the hunt for a talented Sound Designer. This is a gritty, character-driven drama set in the underground world of NYC, with some intense emotional beats and a few surreal, dream-like sequences that will really benefit from a creative ear. We need someone who can craft an immersive sonic landscape, from foley and sound effects to ambient design, truly bringing our world to life. Key responsibilities include collaborating with the director on the overall sound vision, creating and editing all sound elements, mixing dialogue, music, and effects, and delivering final mixes to spec. We're open to all experience levels, but a strong portfolio demonstrating your creative sound design capabilities is essential. You should be proficient with industry-standard DAWs and have your own necessary software and plugins. We're looking at a 2-3 week commitment, likely in early September, though dates are still slightly flexible. Shoot is entirely in New York City.
