Documentary Sound Design 🌍 Remote entry Budget: $150-300/day

We are seeking a talented and passionate Entry-Level Sound Designer for an upcoming independent documentary project. This film explores the impact of AI on creative industries, offering a unique blend of human stories and technological insights. We are aiming for a nuanced, thought-provoking tone, balancing optimism with critical examination. As our Sound Designer, you will be responsible for creating compelling soundscapes, recording and editing dialogue, and designing foley that elevates the emotional depth of our narrative. Your key responsibilities will include sound effects design, dialogue clean-up, mixing, and ensuring overall audio quality. We are looking for someone with a strong ear for detail and a creative approach to storytelling through sound. While based in London, remote work is absolutely fine. You should have your own portable recording gear, a good quality microphone, and access to professional editing software (e.g., Pro Tools, Adobe Audition). Please provide a reel or portfolio showcasing your sound design work, particularly any documentary or narrative projects. Shoot dates are approximate, largely in Q3/Q4 2024, with flexible post-production hours. This is a paid position, offering $150-300 per day depending on experience. We are a small production company, committed to supporting emerging talent.
