Sound Design for Web Series

Hey filmmakers, Garrett Stone here. I'm a prop master on an independent narrative web series and we're on the hunt for a skilled mid-level Sound Designer. This is a gritty, character-driven drama set in the underground LA music scene, with a dark, atmospheric tone. We're looking for someone to craft the sonic landscape, from foley and ambiences to enhancing dialogue and creating impactful sound effects that really immerse the audience in this world. Your main responsibilities will include creating a cohesive sound palette for each episode, mixing final audio, and collaborating closely with our editor and director. You should have your own professional-grade sound design software and a solid library of sound effects, along with experience delivering broadcast-ready audio. A strong reel showcasing your narrative sound design work is a must. This is a remote-friendly position, though local LA folks are a plus for occasional in-person collaboration. We're looking at a soft launch in early fall, so we'd like to get someone on board soon. This is a partnership opportunity, offering a co-producer credit and backend participation, perfect for someone looking to invest in a compelling story and build their portfolio with a dedicated team.
