Sound Design for Web Series

Hey everyone, Lucas Andersson here. I'm helping out a friend's independent production find a talented Sound Designer for an upcoming fantasy web series pilot. It's an ambitious project with a really cool blend of ancient mythology and modern-day mystery, aiming for a grounded but magical tone. Think less high fantasy, more atmospheric and impactful soundscapes. We're looking for someone to handle all post-production sound, including sound effects, foley, and some basic dialogue cleanup. You'll work closely with the director to shape the auditory world of the series. We're open to all experience levels, from emerging talent to seasoned pros. The main thing is your creative ear and ability to deliver. Please have your own sound design software and a good quality microphone if you plan on recording any custom foley. A reel showcasing your past sound design work, especially on narrative projects, is essential. Shoot dates are set for early August (approx. 5-7 days), with post-production kicking off shortly after. Expect roughly 8-10 hour days during post. We're offering a rate of $150-300 per day, depending on experience. We'll provide all necessary picture lock files and any available production audio.
