Sound Designer, Drama Pilot

Seeking an experienced Sound Designer to join our team for a compelling drama pilot filming in Brooklyn. This independent production delves into the complex dynamics of a family struggling with addiction, offering a gritty, realistic tone. We need someone who can craft an immersive soundscape, using subtle atmospheric elements and impactful foley to elevate the emotional core of the narrative. You will be responsible for all post-production sound, including dialogue editing, sound effects creation, foley, and mixing. We're looking for a senior-level sound designer with a strong portfolio showcasing work on dramatic projects. You should have your own professional-grade equipment and software. Experience working with deferred compensation models on independent productions is a plus. Prep and post-production for sound will primarily be remote, with potential for some in-person collaboration in Brooklyn. The shoot itself is expected to take place during the second half of September 2026. This is a collaborative environment, and we value creative input.
