Maintaining Comp Consistency Across Freelance Artists (Grain/CA)

Hey everyone,

I'm a Location Scout, and I'm currently working on a series of short promos for a client. We're shooting a mix of interviews and b-roll across different locations, often with smaller crews. We're using a variety of cameras (some days it's an AMIRA, others a KOMODO or an FX9) depending on availability and budget.

Our post-production involves multiple freelance compositors, and we're aiming for a very specific, slightly stylized 'vintage digital' look, which includes adding grain and subtle chromatic aberration globally. The challenge we're running into is maintaining absolute consistency in these elements when different artists are handling different shots. We've built a template, but the interpretation and application of, say, the grain density or the CA offset still seems to vary slightly.

I'm curious: how have you personally adapted a 'global comp template' with elements like grain and chromatic aberration to ensure a truly consistent look across shots handled by different freelance artists? What workflows or communication strategies have you found most effective?
