Evolving Dialogue Editing: AI & ADR Integration - Seeking Advice
Hey everyone, Kevin here. I'm currently ADing a doc-style narrative on an FX6 and it's got a lot of challenging location audio. We're looking at some heavy dialogue work in post, and it's making me re-evaluate my personal dialogue editing process.
Historically, I've leaned heavily on traditional ADR blending for problematic lines, trying to make those new performances sit seamlessly. Now, with tools like iZotope RX getting incredibly powerful, and performance matchers like Revoice Pro making waves, I'm genuinely curious about how other folks have adapted.
My question is: How has your personal dialogue editing workflow evolved to integrate AI tools like iZotope RX and performance matchers like Revoice Pro alongside traditional ADR blending techniques? Are you finding these tools replace some ADR, or just make the blending process significantly smoother?
