Streamlining QC & Naming for Fast Turnarounds, Your Methods?

I'm Sam, a boom op, and I've been running into a bit of a challenge lately, especially on the quicker gigs. We all know the drill with those big budget shoots, detailed QC sheets, multi-stage checks, and incredibly specific file naming conventions that make sure everything from an ALEXA Mini to the SkyPanel S60-C logs is perfectly accounted for. I've been doing my best to implement something similar, using my MixPre-6 II and 6060 lavaliers.

However, on smaller commercial spots or corporate interviews where we're moving fast, sometimes with just an FX3 and a couple of Titan Tubes, that full-blown, formal process just feels like it eats up too much time. I try to do a quick spot check and keep my folder structure tidy, but I'm always worried I'm missing something crucial in the rush.

So, my question is: For those smaller, faster-turnaround projects, how have you adapted or simplified your quality control and file naming without sacrificing that essential assurance everything is good to go?
