Art Department for Pilot

Hey filmmakers, Marcus here, a Foley Artist working on an exciting independent pilot shooting in Chicago. We're looking for a talented and enthusiastic Art Assistant with some experience under their belt to join our team. This project is a dark comedy, think something akin to a Coen Brothers film meets a quirky indie drama, with a strong focus on visual storytelling through production design. We need someone who can hit the ground running with practical set dressing, prop sourcing, and general art department support. Key responsibilities include assisting the Production Designer with set construction, painting, prop management, and maintaining the overall aesthetic vision of the show. We’re particularly interested in folks who are resourceful and can work creatively within a tight budget. We encourage you to send over any relevant experience or a portfolio/reel if you have one, showing your eye for detail and design. Our shoot dates are tentatively set for early September for about 5-7 days, most likely 10-12 hour days. This is a volunteer position, but we're providing credit, all meals on set, and a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with a passionate crew on a project we genuinely believe in.
