Senior Editor, Music Video (Partnership)

Seeking a talented, senior-level Editor for an upcoming independent music video project in Los Angeles. This is a high-energy, visually driven piece for an emerging indie artist, blending elements of synth-pop and neo-soul. We are aiming for a stylized, cinematic feel with dynamic cuts and a strong narrative throughline, even within the abstract. You'll be responsible for taking raw footage, often multi-cam, and crafting a compelling final edit, including rough cuts, fine cuts, color grading suggestions, and sound design integration. Experience with musical timing and narrative storytelling through editing is crucial. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is a must, and familiarity with DaVinci Resolve for color work is a plus. We're looking for someone with a strong reel demonstrating a knack for stylish, modern music video work, someone who can bring creative vision to the project. This is a partnership opportunity, offering co-producer credit and backend participation, best for someone looking to invest their talent in a project with strong potential. While shoot dates are flexible, post-production will likely begin in early summer and require a dedicated, collaborative approach over a few weeks.
