Camera for Short Film

Hey Atlanta camera folks, I'm helping a colleague staff up for an independent short film, a psychological thriller with some genuinely unsettling twists. We're looking for a sharp Camera PA to support our DP and camera team. This isn't just fetching coffee, though good coffee is always appreciated! You'll be vital in assisting with camera setups, managing equipment, batteries, cards, and generally keeping our camera department running smoothly. Think of it as a great opportunity to get hands-on experience on a well-planned set. We're shooting in and around Atlanta, approximately 3-4 days in late July or early August, exact dates TBD. We're a small, dedicated crew and you'll be working closely with everyone. While we're operating on deferred payment, we will provide meals, craft services, and some gas reimbursement. We're ideally looking for someone with at least some set experience, even if it's student film work, and a willingness to learn and be proactive. Having your own basic gear (e.g., walkie, multi-tool) is a plus, but not strictly required. Please send a brief intro and any relevant experience or a reel if you have one. Let's make some cool stuff!
