2nd AC, Independent Sci-Fi Feature (London)

Hey everyone, Priyanka here. We're looking for a sharp and enthusiastic 2nd AC for an upcoming independent sci-fi feature shooting in London. This is a character-driven thriller with a moody, atmospheric tone, think 'Ex Machina' meets 'Arrival' but on a smaller scale. It's a really visually interesting project with some cool practical effects. As our 2nd AC, you'll be on top of all things camera. This means managing slate, batteries, media, and assisting with lens changes and camera setups. Good organizational skills are key, as is a proactive attitude. Being able to anticipate needs and keep things running smoothly is a huge plus. We're an entry-level friendly set, so if you're keen to learn and have some basic set experience, please apply! Shoot dates are approximately 4 weeks, largely throughout July 2024, with some flexibility. Days will be 10-12 hours. We'll be providing all camera gear, so you just need to bring your A-game and a good attitude. Compensation is $300-500/day, depending on experience.
