1st AD, Sci-Fi Thriller Short (Cape Town)

Hey filmmakers, I'm looking for a talented and organized 1st Assistant Director for an upcoming sci-fi thriller short film. This approximately 15-minute project explores themes of artificial intelligence and identity set against the backdrop of a near-future Cape Town, with a strong visual style and intense emotional beats. It's a challenging story that I believe will resonate deeply with audiences. Your main responsibilities will include creating and managing the shooting schedule, coordinating cast and crew, ensuring we stay on track, and generally keeping the set running smoothly and efficiently. We're looking for someone who is sharp, detail-oriented, and excellent at communication. This is an entry-level position, perfect for someone looking to build their reel and gain hands-on experience on an ambitious independent production. You should have some prior experience, even if on student films or small projects.
