Director: Corporate Explainer Video (Mid-Level)

Seeking a talented Director to helm an upcoming corporate explainer video. This project is for a tech startup, aiming for a professional yet engaging tone, lighthearted but informative, showcasing their innovative software. It's a fantastic opportunity to add a high-quality corporate piece to your reel. Your primary responsibilities will include creative vision and execution, working closely with the client and production team, overseeing talent, and ensuring the final product aligns with the client's brand message. We're looking for someone with a strong eye for visual storytelling and experience in distilling complex information into easily digestible content. We need you to have a solid portfolio demonstrating your directing experience in corporate or commercial work, ideally with some explainer video examples. We're not expecting you to bring your own gear for this one, though familiarity with standard production equipment is a must. All necessary production equipment, crew (including DP, AC, audio), and post-production resources will be provided. Shoot dates are tentatively scheduled for late March, with 2-3 full days of production in the Vancouver area. Compensation is negotiable, based on experience and portfolio.
