Director, Web Series (Entry-Level)

We are seeking a talented and passionate Director for an upcoming independent web series. This project is a quirky, character-driven comedy with a touch of surrealism, exploring the absurdities of daily life in New York City. We are looking for someone with a fresh vision to bring our scripts to life. Key responsibilities include collaborating with the producer and writer, guiding cast performances, blocking scenes, and maintaining the overall artistic integrity of the series. You'll be instrumental in shaping the visual style and tone. Ideal candidates will have some prior experience directing short films, music videos, or other digital content. A strong reel demonstrating your storytelling ability and visual aesthetic is essential. While we don't expect you to own extensive gear for this role, proficiency with standard indie filmmaking equipment is a plus. Shoot dates are currently planned for late spring, with flexible hours per episode. This is a great opportunity to gain experience on a narrative series, work with a dedicated crew, and build your resume. Compensation is negotiable based on experience.
