Production Designer, Comedy Web Series

Web Series Production Design Toronto, ON any Budget: $100-200/day

Hey everyone, Kyle here. I'm a colorist working on an independent comedy web series and we're looking for a Production Designer to join our team. This is a super fun, character-driven series with a quirky, offbeat tone, think 'Parks and Rec' meets 'Broad City.' We're aiming for a strong visual identity that really pops on screen and helps define our unique world, so we need someone creative and resourceful. You'll be responsible for developing the overall look of our sets and locations, sourcing props, managing set dressing, and ensuring everything aligns with our creative vision. While previous production design experience is a huge plus, we're open to folks at any experience level, as long as you have a good eye, a willingness to collaborate, and can work within our budget. A portfolio or examples of your design work (even personal projects) would be great to see. We're providing a basic budget for materials and props, along with transportation allowance if needed. Our anticipated shoot dates are late August to early September, but we're still locking down the exact schedule. We're looking at 2-3 shoot days per 'episode' with some prep time beforehand. We're offering $100-200 per day, depending on experience. This is a great opportunity to get some cool work into your reel and collaborate with a passionate crew. If you're interested, please send over your resume and a link to your work!
