Gaffer (Any Experience) for Miami Feature Film

Seeking a Gaffer for an independent feature film shooting in Miami, FL. This is a dramatic thriller, a character-driven piece with a modern noir sensibility. We're looking for someone creative who can help us achieve a distinct visual mood. You'll be responsible for executing the lighting plan, working closely with the DP to shape the look of each scene, and managing lighting equipment. We're open to all experience levels, from seasoned pros to aspiring gaffers looking for a significant credit. While we have a basic lighting package, we'd appreciate it if you could bring any additional specialty gear you possess. A positive attitude and collaborative spirit are a must. Shoot dates are TBD but tentatively scheduled for late summer, early fall, typically 10-12 hour days. This is a deferred compensation role, offering a backend percentage. It's a great opportunity to get a feature credit on a project with strong artistic ambitions.
