Gaffer for Music Video

Looking for an experienced Gaffer to join an independent music video production in Los Angeles. This is a high-energy pop/R&B track with a modern, stylized aesthetic, featuring dynamic lighting setups and some practical effects. We're aiming for a polished, vibrant look that complements the artist's unique style. Key responsibilities include collaborating with the DP to achieve desired lighting, overseeing the set electrics and grip team, and ensuring all lighting equipment is safely operated and maintained. You'll be responsible for bringing your own basic lighting package (HMI, LED, practicals, stands, distro, etc.), though we'll cover consumables and specialty rentals as needed. We're looking for someone with senior-level gaffing experience on music videos or similar short-form content. Please include a link to your reel highlighting relevant work. Shoot dates are approximately 2-3 days in mid-July (dates TBD, flexible), with 10-hour days. Compensation is $100-200/day, depending on experience and gear package.
