Lighting for Commercial

We're shooting a dynamic commercial spot in Los Angeles next month, focusing on athletic gear with a sleek, modern aesthetic. Think high-energy, clean lines, and impactful visuals. We're looking for a seasoned Gaffer to lead our lighting department and help us achieve a polished, professional look that will really make our product pop. You'll be responsible for designing and executing the lighting plan, working closely with myself (the drone operator) and the camera team to create the desired mood and feel for each shot. This includes overseeing grip and electric, managing equipment, and ensuring safety on set. We need someone who can lead, problem-solve on the fly, and bring a strong sense of artistic vision to the table. Ideal candidates will have significant commercial or high-end narrative experience as a Gaffer, a solid understanding of a variety of lighting fixtures and techniques, and a proven track record. Please share your reel or portfolio showcasing relevant lighting work. While we're a small, independent production, we're dedicated to delivering a top-tier product.
