1st AC, Commercial Shoot Chicago

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented 1st AC for an upcoming commercial project, filming in Chicago, IL. This commercial focuses on innovative technology, aiming for a sleek, modern, and aspirational look with a fast-paced tone. We need someone who can hit the ground running, ensuring our camera department runs smoothly from prep to wrap. Your primary responsibility will be maintaining focus, managing camera setup and breakdown, and handling lenses and camera accessories. Experience with digital cinema cameras (e.g., Arri, RED, Sony Cinema Line) is essential, as is owning a basic toolkit and a reliable follow focus system. While this is an entry-level position for our crew, some commercial set experience is preferred, and a strong reel demonstrating your organizational skills and technical proficiency is a must. This will be a 1-2 day shoot, likely around September 17, 2026, with potential for a half-day prep. Exact dates are flexible, but within that timeframe. We provide lunch and craft services on set. Compensation is $500-800 per day, based on experience.
