Camera for Corporate Video

An independent production, led by a small team, is seeking a talented A Cam Operator to join our crew for an upcoming corporate video project. This isn't your typical dry corporate film; we're aiming for a polished, engaging piece that combines cinematic visuals with clear messaging, focusing on innovation within the tech sector. It’s an exciting opportunity to craft high-end visuals that tell a compelling story for a prominent client. Your key responsibilities will include operating the primary camera (likely a Venice 2, Alexa 35, or similar high-end cinema camera, which will be provided), executing planned shots with precision, collaborating closely with the Director and DP to achieve the visual style, and ensuring all footage meets technical specifications. We value a keen eye for composition, smooth operating skills, and a proactive attitude on set. We require applicants to have at least 3-5 years of professional experience as an A Cam Operator on corporate, commercial, or narrative projects. Please provide a strong reel showcasing your operating work. While we provide the primary camera package, you should be comfortable with various camera systems and possess your own basic tool kit for camera prep. This is a paid position, offering $1000-1500 per day. The shoot is tentatively scheduled for 1-2 days within the first two weeks of October 2026, with an additional half-day for prep. Expect typical 10-hour days. We will provide catering on set and travel reimbursement within the Cape Town area if needed.
