2nd AC, Feature Film (Manchester)

Our independent production is gearing up for a dynamic feature film shoot and we're looking for a sharp, detail-oriented 2nd Assistant Camera to join our team. This is a gritty, character-driven drama set in the Manchester music scene, exploring themes of ambition and loyalty with a raw, authentic tone. It's a passion project, but we're committed to professional standards and a supportive set. You'll be primarily responsible for slate, camera reports, battery management, and assisting the 1st AC with lens changes and general camera support. You'll also help maintain the camera department's organization and workflow. This is an entry level role, so enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key. Experience with Arri Alexa Mini LF systems is a plus, and bringing your own focus pulling tools (tape, markers, etc.) is expected. While we're not asking you to supply a camera package, reliable transport around Manchester is a must. We anticipate about 3 weeks of work, starting in September 2026.
