1st AC, Corporate Interview (SF)

Shooting in San Francisco during the first half of September 2026, we are looking for a reliable 1st AC for a 1-2 day corporate interview shoot. This independent production is creating content for a tech company, focusing on their innovative new product. The tone will be professional, clean, and visually engaging, showcasing expertise and user-friendliness. We're aiming for high-quality, polished visuals that convey trust and capability. It's a straightforward setup but requires attention to detail. Your main responsibilities will include pulling focus, managing camera equipment, setting up and breaking down gear, and assisting the DP with shot composition and lighting adjustments as needed. You'll be the primary point person for camera readiness and maintenance on set. We require at least 3-5 years of experience as a 1st AC, ideally with corporate video or commercial experience. You should be proficient with cinema cameras, particularly RED and ARRI systems, and have a strong understanding of lens choices and camera support. While we will be providing the camera package, we expect you to have your own essential tools for focus pulling, cleaning, and general camera prep. A strong reel demonstrating your focus pulling skills and a professional attitude are a must. The shoot will be a standard 10-hour day, inclusive of a meal break. We'll provide lunch and snacks on set. Exact dates within the first half of September 2026 are still being finalized but will be communicated well in advance. Compensation is $200-400/day, depending on experience.
