Camera Operator, Corporate Video

Hey folks, Terrence here. I'm DITing an upcoming corporate video project for a tech startup, and we're looking for a skilled Camera Operator to join our small, but passionate, crew. This isn't your typical dry corporate video; we're aiming for a dynamic, visually engaging piece that showcases their innovative product with a modern, fresh aesthetic. Think sleek, clean, and a bit cinematic, in line with contemporary tech commercials. We'll be shooting interviews, product demonstrations, and some b-roll around their LA office. Your main responsibilities will be operating an A-camera, helping with camera setup and breakdown, and working closely with the Cinematographer to achieve their vision. We'll be needing someone who is proficient with modern cinema cameras, ideally something like a Blackmagic Pocket or Canon C-series, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Please have your own basic camera package (camera body, lenses, tripod) available. A strong reel demonstrating your operating skills is essential. Shoot dates are tentatively scheduled for mid-August, likely 2-3 days of shooting, standard 10-hour days. We're an independent production, so this is a volunteer position, but we're providing credit, all meals on set, and a great networking opportunity.
