1st AC, Feature Film (Mexico City)

Hey everyone, Catalina here. I'm helping a director friend find a talented 1st AC for an upcoming independent feature film. It's a dark comedy, kind of a Coen Brothers vibe, set in a quirky small town outside Mexico City. Really character-driven with some visually interesting scenes. We're looking for someone who's meticulous with focus and keeps things organized. You'll be responsible for pulling focus, maintaining camera equipment, managing media, and generally assisting the DP. We're open to all experience levels, from seasoned pros to enthusiastic newcomers, as long as you've got a good eye and a solid work ethic. You should have your own follow focus system and access to a basic set of camera tools. Please have a reel or at least a list of projects you've worked on. We're shooting for roughly 5 weeks, starting around mid-July, usually 10-12 hour days. We'll be providing all main camera body and lensing. Compensation is a flat rate of $250 USD per day.
