Directing for Commercial

Hey filmmakers, Sofia here, a local Location Scout in Albuquerque. I'm helping an independent production find a Director for an upcoming commercial project. We're looking for someone to bring their vision to a 30-second commercial spot for a local small business, showcasing their unique services in a dynamic, engaging way. Think clean visuals, a friendly tone, and a narrative that connects with the local community. This project needs a director who can execute a concise, impactful story within a short timeframe. Key responsibilities include collaborating with the producer and client on creative direction, leading cast and crew on set, and ensuring the final product meets client objectives. We're flexible on experience level, welcoming both emerging and seasoned directors. While we'll have essential gear available (camera package, basic lighting), proficiency with your preferred directing tools is a plus. Please share your reel or examples of your directing work, especially any commercial projects. Shoot dates are approximate, currently looking at a 2-day shoot sometime in late July or early August, with prep days leading up. We're budgeting for roughly 10-hour days.
