Director: Atmospheric Indie Music Video, Brooklyn

Seeking an emerging Director for an independent music video project in Brooklyn. This is a visually driven, atmospheric piece for an alternative/indie artist, with a dreamy, slightly melancholic tone. We’re aiming for a strong narrative through visuals, rather than performance heavy, which makes it a really interesting creative challenge. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the creative vision from concept to execution, working closely with the artist and our small production team. We'll need you to develop storyboards and a shot list, block scenes, and guide performances to bring the track to life. We're looking for someone with a solid directorial voice and a reel that showcases your ability to craft compelling visual stories. While we're providing core production support (camera, lighting, and a small crew), any specific gear you'd like to use should be discussed. We're open to fresh perspectives. Shoot dates are tentatively scheduled for late July 2024, likely two full days. This is a deferred compensation project, offering points backend plus a deferred fee that will be paid once the project generates revenue.
