Director: Sci-Fi Feature (PDX)

Hey filmmakers! We're on the hunt for a talented Director for our upcoming independent sci-fi feature, currently in pre-production here in Portland. This project is a gritty, character-driven story exploring themes of identity and artificial intelligence, with a visually striking aesthetic we're incredibly excited to bring to life. As Director, you'll be responsible for leading the creative vision on set, guiding our cast and crew through principal photography, and collaborating closely with our design and cinematography teams. We’re open to all experience levels, from first-time feature directors to seasoned pros, as long as you bring passion and a unique voice. Your reel or portfolio should demonstrate strong visual storytelling capabilities and a clear directorial style. We're looking at an approximate 15-20 day shoot, likely late summer or early fall. We'll provide all necessary equipment, crew, and a supportive, collaborative environment. Daily rate is $500-800, depending on experience. Come help us make something special!
