Senior Editor, Commercial Spots (Equity)

Hey everyone, I'm an Assistant Editor on an independent production team, and we're looking for a skilled Senior Editor to join us for an upcoming series of commercial spots. These are high-energy, visually driven pieces, aiming for a modern, impactful aesthetic. We need someone who can take our existing footage and truly craft compelling narratives that resonate with audiences. Key responsibilities include assembling rough cuts, implementing client feedback, color grading, and sound sweetening to deliver polished final edits. You'll be instrumental in shaping the final product, so a strong creative eye is essential. We're searching for someone with extensive experience cutting commercials, ideally with a solid reel showcasing your best work. Please have your own editing station and software (Premiere Pro preferred). This isn't a traditional for-hire gig, though. We're offering a genuine partnership, an equity stake in a small production company that's genuinely growing. We're based in Austin, TX, and ideally, you'd be local or willing to relocate. Project timelines are flexible but generally start within the next 4-6 weeks and involve a dedicated effort over several months.
