Post-Production for Pilot

Pilot Post-Production Berlin, DE entry Budget: No pay (passion project)

Hey filmmakers, Annika here! I'm an editor working on an exciting pilot for a dark comedy series based in Berlin. It's a character-driven story with a quirky, offbeat tone, exploring modern absurdities through a very local lens. We're looking for a passionate Assistant Editor to join our small, dedicated team and help bring this vision to life. Your main responsibilities would include organizing footage, syncing audio (we've got quite a bit of dialogue and sound design planned!), creating proxies, and handling general media management. This is an essential role, freeing me up to focus on the creative cut, and your meticulous organization will make a huge difference. You'll get direct insight into the editorial process of a narrative pilot. Ideally, you'll have some familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro and a good eye for detail. While we don't expect extensive professional experience (this is an entry-level opportunity), a genuine interest in post-production and a willingness to learn are key. Please share any relevant projects or a quick overview of your experience; a formal reel isn't strictly necessary for this role, but always welcome. This is a volunteer position for an independent production, so unfortunately, there's no compensation, but it's a fantastic chance to gain experience on a compelling project and expand your network. We anticipate the post-production phase to run over approximately 4-6 weeks, with flexible hours that we can discuss to fit your schedule. We'll be working remotely for the most part, but occasional in-person meetings in Berlin might be needed. We'll provide access to all necessary project files and software licenses if you don't have them.
