Editor, Web Series (Horror-Comedy)

Hey everyone, Cole here, I'm usually behind the boom, but I'm helping production find an editor for an upcoming web series. We're shooting a horror-comedy, think 'What We Do in the Shadows' meets independent film quirks. It's going to be a fun, fast-paced project with plenty of room for creative input and some genuinely funny moments. We're looking for someone to help us craft the story in post-production. Your main responsibilities will include assembling raw footage into a compelling narrative, syncing audio, adding basic sound design elements, and handling color correction to create a consistent look. We'll provide all the raw footage, sound files, and a general direction, but we’re excited to see your vision come through. We're open to all experience levels, from burgeoning talent to seasoned pros. What's most important is a strong sense of storytelling and a keen eye for comedic timing through editing. Please have your own editing software (Premiere Pro is preferred) and a reel or some work samples you can share. Shoot dates are still being finalized but will likely be late spring/early summer in Nashville. Editing hours will be flexible, depending on your schedule and our project timeline. We're offering a daily rate of $100-200, depending on experience. This is a great opportunity to get a credit on a project with a lot of potential.
