Editor, Web Series (Entry-Level)

Hey everyone, we're looking for an entry-level editor for a new comedic web series we're shooting in Chicago. It's a fun, fast-paced show about a group of friends trying to start a bizarre small business. Think Office Space meets Broad City. We've got about six episodes planned, each around 10-15 minutes long, so a good opportunity for someone looking to build their reel. You'll be responsible for assembling raw footage, polishing cuts, working with sound, and color correcting. We’re looking for someone who's proficient with Adobe Premiere Pro. Please have some experience with short-form narrative content, even if it's student films or personal projects. A strong sense of comedic timing is a huge plus. We definitely want to see your reel, so send that over. We anticipate picture lock on each episode in about 2-3 days of work, for a total of approximately 12-18 days of work over the next few months. We're offering $500-800/day, depending on experience. We're a small, independent production, so you'll be working closely with the director and post-production supervisor.
